Styles and approaches differ greatly with hypnotherapists, fortunately, I am not tied to any one particular method. I use an eclectic approach, keeping up to date with all the latest developments in the field, whilst retaining the most effective, tried and tested methods of the past. Where appropriate I use NLP and Ericksonian Hypnotherapy. People of all ages can be hypnotised. Children respond especially well, often from quite a young age particularly for such things as stammering, nervous skin disorders or bed-wetting. Most children are highly imaginative and make especially good hypnotic subjects. All adults can enter hypnosis unless they suffer from a serious mental disorder, or are under the influence of alcohol or other substance. Incidentally, it should be pointed out that a light trance often obtains the best results.
